Ziel des Workshops war es, die relevantesten Umweltauswirkungen zu identifizieren, die mit der Produktion und dem Konsum von Lebensmitteln in Thailand verbunden sind. Der Workshop in Thailand bildet zusammen mit den Workshops in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.corsus.de\/news\/clif-workshop-umweltauswirkungen-lebensmittel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deutschland<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.corsus.de\/news\/clif-workshop-mit-expertinnen-in-paraguay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paraguay<\/a>&nbsp;und&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.corsus.de\/news\/clif-workshop-mit-suedafrikanischen-unternehmen-zu-den-umweltwirkungen-der-lebensmittelgewinnung\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S\u00fcdafrika<\/a>, der diese Woche stattfindet, eine Basis f\u00fcr das Foot Impacts Toolkit (FIT), das corsus im Rahmen von CLIF entwickelt.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper--paragraph\"><div class=\"container container--narrow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper--image\"><div class=\"container container--narrow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/food-impacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Nicomumm@sukosol-Mittel-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19838\" srcset=\"https:\/\/food-impacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Nicomumm@sukosol-Mittel-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/food-impacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Nicomumm@sukosol-Mittel-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/food-impacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Nicomumm@sukosol-Mittel-1-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/food-impacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Nicomumm@sukosol-Mittel-1-550x413.jpg 550w, https:\/\/food-impacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Nicomumm@sukosol-Mittel-1-150x113.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper--paragraph\"><div class=\"container container--narrow\">\n<p>Um die wesentlichen Umweltauswirkungen von Lebensmittelproduktion und -konsum in Thailand identifizieren zu k\u00f6nnen, ist es zun\u00e4chst wichtig, das thail\u00e4ndische Ern\u00e4hrungssystem besser zu verstehen. Daf\u00fcr wurde in Gruppen gearbeitet und die Umweltauswirkungen, die mit der Ern\u00e4hrung in Thailand verbunden sind, aus Konsumperspektive und aus Produktionsperspektive betrachtet. Die Unterscheidung dieser Perspektiven ist wichtig, da im Land viele Kulturen angebaut werden, die nicht f\u00fcr den heimischen Markt produziert werden, sondern exportiert werden. Spannend war hier zu h\u00f6ren, dass Thailand einen Selbstversorgungsgrad von 120-150 Prozent erreicht. Ebenso interessant war die Diskussion \u00fcber die thail\u00e4ndischen Ern\u00e4hrungs-\u201e\u00d6kosysteme\u201c, die in ein indigenes, ein rurales und ein urban gepr\u00e4gtes \u00d6kosystem unterschieden werden und sich hinsichtlich ihrer Umweltauswirkungen, aber auch im Hinblick auf Ern\u00e4hrungskompetenzen unterscheiden. W\u00e4hrend das indigene Ern\u00e4hrungs-\u00d6kosystem im Einklang mit der Natur steht und die Ern\u00e4hrungskompetenzen hoch sind, basiert das urbane Ern\u00e4hrungssystem vielfach auf Convenienceprodukten und orientiert sich an der westlichen und japanischen Ern\u00e4hrung.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper--paragraph\"><div class=\"container container--narrow\">\n<p>Ergebnis des Workshops war, dass die die Bodengesundheit und Landnutzungs\u00e4nderungen als die beiden wichtigsten Umweltprobleme, die mit der Lebensmittelproduktion in Thailand verbunden sind, angesehen werden \u2013 gefolgt von Klimaauswirkungen und Biodiversit\u00e4tsverlusten.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper--paragraph\"><div class=\"container container--narrow\">\n<p>Die Erkenntnisse aus dem Workshop tragen gemeinsam mit den Erkenntnissen aus den anderen L\u00e4nderworkshops entscheidend zur Grundlage bei, auf der corsus FIT entwickelt. Die weitere Grundlage f\u00fcr FIT bilden die methodischen Erkenntnisse aus den \u00d6kobilanzfallstudien, die in den vier Regionen durchgef\u00fchrt werden. FIT ist ein Werkzeug, das in verschiedenen nationalen Kontexten f\u00fcr Verbraucher:innen ebenso wie f\u00fcr Handel und Au\u00dfer-Haus-Verzehr Informationen zu Umweltauswirkungen von Lebensmitteln liefern wird.
